About the estate
The Bourdy winery is located in the heart of the Palatinate region in Edesheim and has been run as a family business since 1732, currently managed by Karin and Heinrich Bourdy together with their son Christian. The portfolio focuses on Riesling and various Pinot varieties, which are complemented by national and international grape sorts. In the cellar, the grapes undergo gentle processing with slow, temperature-controlled fermentation. White wines are matured in stainless steel tanks, whereas red wines are fermented on the skins and partially aged in small barrique barrels. Additionally, the estate has operated its own distillery for spirits and liqueurs for several decades.
