About the estate

The Paul Rogenwieser estate in Kirchheim an der Weinstraße looks back on a long tradition dating back to 1528, with its own winery founded in 1736. Spanning 21 hectares of vineyards, the family-run business cultivates sites shaped by the climatic protection of the Palatinate Forest and diverse soils featuring loess, sandstone, limestone, and clay. The portfolio includes white wines such as Riesling, Pinot Gris, Sauvignon Blanc, and Kerner, alongside red wines like Pinot Noir, Merlot, and Portugieser. Traditional viticulture is combined with modern cellar technology to produce wines with an individual character. The estate's top wines are marketed under the R1 line.
