About the estate
The Weinbau Emmenberg estate was founded in 1994 by Joe Scherer, who created vineyard terraces on a steep slope high above the valley of the little Emme. Across a vineyard area of 0.25 hectares, fungus-resistant grape varieties such as Solaris, Seyval Blanc, Cabernet Cortis, Regent, and Baco Noir are cultivated. Farming is conducted organically, allowing the vines to thrive entirely without copper sprays. From these various varieties, the winemaker crafts complex cuvées that are produced as blends. The small winery is located in Malters in German-speaking Switzerland and belongs to the AOC Luzern denomination.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Celtica and Réselle.
