About the estate
The Elias Bachmann winery is located in Gelfingen in the Lucerne Seetal and has been run as a family business for six generations. In 2019, Elias Bachmann planted his first own vines and currently cultivates a vineyard area of 1.5 hectares. The estate has consciously chosen to grow fungus-resistant grape varieties, known as PIWI, to reduce the use of plant protection products. The wines are produced within the AOC Lucerne denomination.
