The traditional family-run Wein & Wohnen Rethaller estate has been cultivating vineyards for many generations in Angern, a southern district of Krems in the Kremstal region. The cultivated vineyard area covers 115.9 hectares, spread across notable sites such as Herrentrost, Wolfsberg, Frauengrund, and Seebodenberg. The grape variety spectrum includes Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Yellow Muscat, and Merlot. Great importance is placed on manual labour in the vineyard, while the cellar focuses on a resource-efficient approach with targeted use of technology. In addition to winemaking, the estate also offers guest rooms and a holiday apartment.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling. The estate sells to retail. Export markets include Germany, Italy, Belgium and Netherlands.
