About the estate

Founded in 2006, the VOERZIO ALBERTO Az.Agr. estate is located in La Morra, Piedmont, and is managed by Alberto Voerzio. The six-hectare vineyard area features parcels such as the historic cru La Serra and the Castagni cru, with vines ranging from ten to forty years of age. The cultivated grape varieties include Dolcetto, Barbera, and Nebbiolo. Viticulture is carefully executed by hand, encompassing manual pruning via the Guyot system, summer canopy management, and harvesting in late September. In the cellar, vinification proceeds spontaneously without commercial yeasts, herbicides and filtration are avoided, and the wines are aged in barriques.
