About the estate
The Villa Vallacchio estate is located in the heart of Chianti Classico in San Casciano in Val di Pesa, looking back on a family history since 1867 with the earliest records of the lands dating back to 1313. The vineyard area covers about 15 hectares planted with Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon, Canaiolo and Merlot, situated at an altitude of approximately 320 meters on alberese soils with limestone, clay and silt. The productive vineyards are managed using modern manual and mechanical procedures to maintain the quality of the wine under the Chianti Classico DOCG denomination. In addition to wine, the property produces olive oil from the Moraiolo, Frantoio and Leccino varieties.
