Valle del Sole

About the estate

The Valle del Sole estate is located in Lucca in north-west Tuscany, covering ten hectares of vineyards and olive groves in a valley influenced by the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Apuan Alps. The family history evolved from sharecropping to small landownership, with Renato expanding the property in the nineteen-nineties and Marco taking over ownership in 2008. The vineyards sit at an altitude of about 100 metres on soils ranging from Tuscan sandstone in the hills to sandy-loam soils in the plains. Vineyard management follows organic farming regulations alongside the application of biodynamic techniques. The portfolio comprises wines under the Toscana IGT denomination, including Ebrius, Linchetto and Collezione Privata.
