About the estate
The historic Traversa 1816 - F.Lli Rovera Ssa estate is located in the heart of Alto Monferrato at over 350 meters above sea level and looks back on a history of more than two centuries. Founded by Giuseppe Traversa and passed down through generations, the winery is managed today by grandsons Sebastiano and Edoardo Rovera. The vineyards are situated on soils enriched with sandstone sediments influenced by the nearby Apennines. Production relies exclusively on estate-grown grapes from their own vineyards. The portfolio includes wines from denominations such as Barbaresco DOCG, Barolo DOCG, Dogliani DOCG, Langhe DOC, and Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC.
