Terre di Lodola

About the estate

The Terre di Lodola winery was founded in 2016 by Giulio Vallavanti as a sole proprietorship in Gropparello, Emilia-Romagna. The estate covers an area of approximately two hectares, divided into ten small plots at an altitude of about 460 meters between the Val Vezzeno and Val Chero valleys. The operation cultivates both family-owned and recently acquired vineyards featuring old and medium-aged vines. The entire production process takes place directly on site, yielding nine different wines exclusively from estate-grown grapes. Each vineyard plot is mostly vinified separately to highlight the distinct characteristics of the surrounding soils and exposures.
