Terre Antiche

About the estate

The Terre Antiche winery was founded in 2015 by three friends in the Lazio region and cultivates four hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are distributed between the municipalities of Piglio and Anagni at the foot of the Ernici Mountains at an altitude of about 300 meters above sea level. The holdings include older parcels planted in the 1960s and 1980s alongside new vineyards established in the founding year with pure clones of Cesanese di Piglio and Affile. Viticulture is conducted strictly according to biodynamic methods, with production focused on distinct single vineyards. For vinification and aging, the estate utilizes terracotta amphorae and barrels made from native wood.
