About the estate
The Tenuta Cappellina estate is located at the southern edge of the Chianti Classico region in Castelnuovo Berardenga in Tuscany. Spanning a total area of 100 hectares, a large portion of which remains wild woodland, the property is dedicated to organic viticulture. At the heart of production is the Sangiovese grape variety, used to craft traditional wines under the Chianti Classico DOCG and Toscana IGT denominations. The working philosophy places great emphasis on sustainability, biodiversity, and the avoidance of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides. Vinification relies on large oak casks to preserve the natural character and fruit profile of the wines.
The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Sangiovese.
