About the estate

The Tenuta Buon Tempo estate in Montalcino traces its origins back to 1941 and was acquired under this name in 2012 by Per Landin. The organically certified vineyards cover fourteen hectares, distributed across Castelnuovo dell’Abate and Calbello north of Montalcino. The sole grape variety cultivated is Sangiovese Grosso, which undergoes manual harvesting followed by spontaneous fermentation with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel, concrete, and large oak vats. The wines are aged in traditional large Slavonian oak casks to preserve the character of the terroir.

The eno directory lists 6 wines, mostly from Sangiovese.
