About the estate
The Tenuta Alzatura winery was founded in the late nineties by the Cecchi family in the Umbrian region of Montefalco. Unlike other Tuscan estates, the property does not consist of a single contiguous plot, but is divided into three different vineyards located in Monterone, San Marco, and Alzatura. The natural soils and careful management of the vegetative phases provide the foundation for producing wines of strong regional typicity. The portfolio focuses on the regional designations Montefalco Rosso DOC and Montefalco Sagrantino DOCG.
