About the estate
The Stäger Weine estate in Maienfeld in the Bündner Herrschaft region is managed by Markus and Karin Stäger alongside their daughters. The winery cultivates four hectares of vineyards distributed across fourteen parcels, some of which are surrounded by stone walls and situated at altitudes between 520 and 600 meters above sea level. The oldest vines are over 50 years old, and additional grapes from Maienfeld are purchased to supplement the harvest. The product range features regional varieties, extending from fruity white wines to classic Pinot Noir and the barrique-aged Olymp. Both the vineyards and the wines in the cellar are crafted with meticulous care in harmony with nature.
The eno directory lists 7 wines, mostly from Pinot Noir and Müller-Thurgau.
