About the estate

The Grendelmeier Weingut im Tschalär estate is located in Zizers in the Bündner Herrschaft region. Ten different grape varieties thrive on more than six hectares of vineyards situated on a south-west-facing debris cone at an altitude of around 550 meters. The sunny, dry climate and the proximity to the mountains shape the character of the wines. The grapes are vinified and bottled directly at the winery. Distribution is directed toward gastronomy, private customers, and selected retailers.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Müller-Thurgau and Chardonnay. The estate sells to horeca and retail.
