About the estate
The Spitz et Fils estate is a family-run winery located in Blienschwiller in Alsace, cultivating twelve hectares of vineyards. The vines are spread across Blienschwiller, Epfig, Dambach-la-Ville, and Scherwiller, including the sites Waldweg and Fronholz as well as the Alsace Grand Cru Winzenberg. Produced grape varieties and wine styles feature Riesling, Gewurztraminer, and Sylvaner alongside Crémant d'Alsace. The estate operates with environmental respect, holds H.V.E. certification, and is currently converting to organic farming. Harvesting is done manually, followed by gentle pressing and vinification in traditional large wooden foudres, stainless steel tanks, or barriques.
