Risch Francis

About the estate

The Risch Francis estate has been family-owned for four generations and is located in Bernardvillé in Alsace. The winery cultivates vineyards in the Grand Cru Winzenberg, Schieferberg, and Eichelberg sites, which feature diverse soils such as granite, slate, and volcanic-sedimentary rock. The cultivated grape varieties include Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Auxerrois, Sylvaner, Pinot Gris, Muscat, and Pinot Noir, among others. Vineyard management follows the guidelines of the Haute Valeur Environnementale label for environmentally conscious production. Harvesting for the wines of the AOC Alsace, AOC Alsace Grand Cru, and AOC Crémant d'Alsace appellations is conducted manually.
