About the estate

Winegrowing has a long tradition spanning many generations at the Sommerbauer estate in Perchtoldsdorf in the Thermen Region. The winemaker took over the business at a very young age and later completed professional training in Krems. During the work in the vineyards and cellar, the approach involves moving away from conventional paths, trying out new methods, and reviving almost forgotten traditions. In addition to viticulture, the family also runs a traditional wine tavern at the location. Combining the background of a trained chef and winemaker, the philosophy of winemaking is closely linked to culinary experiences.
