About the estate
The Soc. Agrícola Jorge Rosa Santos & Filhos, Lda estate located in Estremoz looks back on a family winemaking tradition spanning over four hundred years, historically closely linked to the Quinta de Valverde in Caldas da Rainha. Today, the winery is managed by Jorge Botelho Rosa Santos, Maria da Luz Granate Rosa Santos and their children Frederico, Ricardo, Jorge and Vasco. Although operations have shifted to Alentejo, the family honors the four-century-old heritage of their patriarchs with their wines. Historic bottles from the nineteenth century still rest in the cellar of the historic property. The portfolio includes wines such as Malvasia de Colares.
