About the estate
The Simon Maye & Fils estate cultivates ten hectares of vineyards in the heart of the Chamoson wine region in Valais. The winery was founded in 1948 by Simon Maye. The vineyards extend across alluvial cones with calcareous and gravelly soils as well as terraced hillside plots with exposed limestone. The winery cultivates eleven grape varieties under the AOC Valais designation. Agricultural practices focus on soil management and respect for the local terroir and appellation.
