About the estate

The Schlossweingut Stachlburg estate is located in Parcines in South Tyrol and is farmed according to organic-biological traditions. The winery was founded in 1990 by Sigmund Baron von Kripp, who maintains the 13th-century castle within the family. The vineyards extend across various sites at the entrance of the Venosta Valley as well as in Andrian, cultivating grape varieties such as Pinot Noir, Pinot Blanc, Chardonnay, Gewürztraminer, Sauvignon Blanc, and Lagrein. The vinification process creates distinctive wines that reflect the diverse climatic influences of the region.

The eno directory lists 5 wines, mostly from Lagrein and Merlot. The estate sells to retail and distributors. Export markets include Germany and Luxembourg.
