About the estate
The Scherrer Thierry estate is located in Ammerschwihr in the Haut-Rhin region of Alsace. Since 1994, the winemaker has taken over the family business and vinifies the entire production independently. The vineyards are cultivated using traditional methods with alternating grassing, soil cultivation, and the application of compost and manure with a strong focus on environmental respect. The product range includes wines from the AOC Alsace, AOC Alsace Grand Cru, and AOC Crémant d'Alsace denominations, featuring wines from the Grand Cru Kaefferkopf terroir. The winery holds the Haute Valeur Environnementale certification and is a member of the independent winegrowers association of Alsace.
