The Sc de Com. Clos Sainte Magdeleine estate is located in Cassis, Provence, with a winegrowing history dating back to the twelfth century and a main building constructed in 1921 in the Art Deco and Bauhaus style. Managed by the family across four generations, the property sits directly facing the Mediterranean Sea on poor, calcareous soils featuring late Cretaceous sandstone and sandy marls. The terraced vineyards, particularly the Bel-Arme site, are exceptionally well-suited for producing dry white wines characterized by coastal sea spray and a distinct mineral salinity. Vinification relies on traditional methods with extended maturation processes using stainless steel vats, concrete vats, sandstone jars, and large oak barrels to preserve the identity of the terroir.
