Le Bastidon

About the estate

The Le Bastidon estate is located in Provence in La Londe-les-Maures and covers a vineyard area of 80 hectares directly on the Mediterranean coast. Already from the 18th century, the Chartreux de la Verne cultivated vines and olive trees at this historic site. For 26 years, the Rose family has been restructuring the property and cultivating the vineyards in total harmony with nature. On sandy-clay and sandy-silt soils, about a dozen grape varieties thrive, including traditional Provençal varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Rolle and Tibouren, as well as Chardonnay and Viognier. The wines of the estate are protected under the AOC Côtes de Provence, AOC Côtes de Provence La Londe, and Maures IGP denominations.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Grenache and Cinsault.
