About the estate

The Rosso Francesco estate in Santo Stefano Roero, Piedmont, is rooted in a long family tradition tied to the local land, with the current winery established in 2001. After years focusing on vegetable production, the owner returned to agricultural origins by restoring abandoned vineyards and releasing the first estate-bottled wines in 2012. Farming 3.5 hectares of vineyards, the estate produces approximately 15,000 bottles annually, focusing on traditional regional grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, and Arneis. All stages of production, from vineyard management to bottling, are personally handled by the five-family-member team, and the estate is a member of FIVI.

The eno directory lists 12 wines, mostly from Nebbiolo and Arneis. The estate sells to retail.
