About the estate

The RONCHI Az. Agr. di Giancarlo Rocca estate looks back on a long-standing history established at the end of the nineteenth century by Carlo Rocca. Today, Giancarlo Rocca runs the winery in the fourth generation, cultivating nearly six hectares of vineyards situated in the regions of Barbaresco and Guarene. The vineyards are planted with grape varieties such as Nebbiolo, Barbera, Arneis, and Chardonnay, which are used to produce Barbaresco, Langhe wines, and a Metodo Classico sparkling wine, among others. Environmental sensitivity is applied in the vineyard by avoiding chemical fertilizers to preserve natural soil fertility and balance. Since the nineteen-nineties, the wines have been distributed internationally alongside the domestic market.
