About the estate
The Romano&Adamo estate was founded by cousins Bernardo Romano and Piero Adamo, continuing a family winemaking tradition passed down through generations. Located in Cirò Marina in Calabria, the winery focuses on discovering and enhancing native grape varieties of the region, particularly within the Cirò DOC area. The estate owns vineyards in renowned zones such as Feudo, Almeria, Ponta Basilisco, and Difesa Piana, where vines are trained in Cordone Speronato and bush vine systems. Vineyard management includes harvesting exclusively by hand to guarantee that every single bunch reaches perfect maturity. In the cellar, the wines are produced through spontaneous fermentations and minimal intervention, maintaining a profound connection to the local terroir.
