About the estate

The Russo & Longo winery originated at the end of the 19th century as a family business in Strongoli Crotone in Calabria and is currently managed in the fourth generation. The vineyards occupy a strategic position on terraced hills overlooking the sea and benefit from a mild, temperate climate for many months of the year. The production features autochthonous grape varieties such as Gaglioppo, Magliocco, Greco Nero, Malvasìa Bianca, Greco Bianco, Pecorello, and Sangiovese, alongside the international varieties Sauvignon Blanc and Traminer. Cultivation relies on careful agronomic techniques, supported by additional vineyards managed through strict supervision of local grape suppliers.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Malvasia and Sauvignon Blanc.
