About the estate

The Rizieri estate is situated in the heart of the Langhe hills in Diano d'Alba, Piedmont. Arturo Verrotti di Pianella founded the winery in 2009 after turning his long-standing passion for winemaking into a full-time profession. The estate covers a total area of approximately 14 hectares, with 7.5 hectares under vine and the remainder consisting of woodland. The vineyards lie in the Sorì del Ricchino area on clay-limestone soils with sandy veins and a predominantly southern exposure. The property features a characteristic 19th-century farmhouse alongside a modern, semi-subterranean cellar designed to integrate with the surrounding landscape.
