About the estate

The Quinta do Pessegueiro estate is situated in the Cima Corgo sub-region of the Douro Valley, encompassing 28 hectares of vineyards across the Pessegueiro, Teixeira, and Afurada terroirs. Vineyard management respects natural balances without the use of herbicides, with a portion of the estate already under organic certification and traditional practices such as foot treading in lagares employed for production. The gravity-fed winery spans five architectural levels, allowing for a gentle vinification process entirely without pumps from grape reception to barrel aging. The product portfolio features white and red still wines carrying the Douro DOC designation alongside Port wines including Vintage and LBV styles.
