About the estate
The Quinta do Monte Travesso looks back on a long history in the Douro region and has been owned by the same family for generations. The vineyards cover an area of 16 hectares within a traditional landscape. The historic estate produces wines under the Douro DOC and Porto DOC denominations. The viticulture and winemaking are closely tied to the family heritage and the characteristics of the terroir. Today, the estate is managed by the fifth generation.
