About the estate
The Poças Vinhos estate was founded in 1918 and is currently managed by the fourth generation of the same family. It is one of the few Portuguese port wine companies to remain in family hands since its inception. The wines are produced on the slopes of the Douro Valley, and the company owns three estates. Furthermore, the wines age in historical cellars located in Vila Nova de Gaia. The production includes wines from the Douro DOC and Porto DOC denominations.
