About the estate

The LUIGI GIORDANO s.s.a estate has been rooted in Barbaresco, Piedmont, for four generations and shares a close connection with this land. The winery's approach is guided by respect, trust, and the combination of the older generation's experience with the studies of the new generation. The business cultivates the historic Montestefano vineyard, which features deep, blue-gray marl soils with active limestone. This south-facing site located in the highest part of the hill provides optimal conditions for deep and structured wines from the Nebbiolo grape variety. In the best vintages, selections from the oldest vines are used to produce a reserve wine.

The eno directory lists 11 wines, mostly from Nebbiolo and Arneis. The estate sells to importers and distributors. Export markets include Germany, France and United Kingdom.
