Founded in 2019, the Gorun winery is situated in the Iskar River valley in Bulgaria on hilly terrain at an average elevation of 150 to 180 meters. The location features a breezy microclimate with hot summers and low precipitation during the grape-ripening period. The family-run boutique estate combines centuries-old traditions with modern winemaking techniques. Its production focuses on reviving local grape varieties such as Gamza and Kaylashki Misket to craft distinctive, limited-edition wines that reflect the unique regional terroir.
