The Винарска изба Царина estate is located in Tsrancha, Bulgaria, and is run by a family that cultivates its own vineyards. The vines grow on old Thracian soils, yielding native varieties like Mavrud, Pamid, Muscat Ottonel, and Rkatsiteli, alongside international grapes such as Merlot and Cabernet. The wines are aged in patient oak, producing distinct white and red cuvées as well as single-varietal wines. For the cellar operations and fermentation cooling, the winery utilizes self-developed, energy-efficient technology. The philosophy centers on sustainable management, old vines, and meticulous manual care.
