About the estate
The Pontual Wines estate manages a vineyard area of 150 hectares located in Alandroal within the Alentejo region. The soils of the vineyards are primarily composed of brown schists, providing ideal conditions for the root systems of the vines. The grape portfolio encompasses numerous indigenous, national, and international varieties for both white and red wines. Winemaking follows strictly controlled methods, with white wines aging on fine lees and reds maturing in American and/or French oak barrels. All oenological decisions are directed by winemaker Paolo Fiúza Nigra.
