About the estate
The family-owned winery PONCHIONE MAURIZIO Az. Agr. traces its origins back to vineyards worked by the grandfather under Professor Giovanni Dalmasso, which eventually led to the acquisition of their first plot. Today, grandson Maurizio Ponchione manages the estate on the hills of Roero alongside his father Bruno and his son Andrea, overseeing twelve hectares of vineyards. The vineyards are planted with well-known grape varieties such as Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Grignolino, Arneis, and Chardonnay. In the cellar, the winery combines tradition and technology, utilizing concrete and stainless steel tanks as well as oak barrels and barriques for aging the red wines. The production includes wines from appellations such as Barolo DOCG, Barbaresco DOCG, and Barbera d'Alba DOC.
