Polz

About the estate

The Polz estate in Rossatz-Arnsdorf was founded in 1893 by Eduard and Anna Polz and has since been run as a family business. Since 1986, Erich and Brigitte Polz have managed the winery, supported by winemaker Herbert Polz. Cultivating 12 hectares of vineyards in the Wachau region, the estate produces dry and fruity wines marketed under the Wachau DAC denomination. In 2001, the wine cellar was renovated to implement a gentle processing method for the grapes. The transfer of knowledge from generation to generation shapes the working methods of the winery.

The eno directory lists 14 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.
