About the estate

The Frischengruber estate is located in the Wachau region and looks back on a family tradition dating back to 1842. Today, the winery is managed by Sandra and Georg Frischengruber using organic farming methods and a strong focus on sustainability. In the vineyards, artificial fertilizers and synthetic pesticides are deliberately avoided, while sheep are used to actively promote biodiversity. Winemaking relies on precise manual labor, gentle vinification, natural fermentation, and extended aging on the fine lees. This approach yields characteristic wines of the Wachau DAC denomination that reflect the unique terroir of their origin.

The eno directory lists 16 wines, mostly from Grüner Veltliner and Riesling.
