About the estate

The Piedmontese family-run estate PODERI ELIA s.s. was founded in Neive in 1890 by an ancestor of the current owners. The winery farms about nine hectares of land entirely with estate-owned vineyards, producing roughly 60,000 bottles per year. The portfolio includes designations such as Barbaresco DOCG, Barbera d'Alba DOC, and Barolo DOCG. Vineyard management focuses on low yields to ensure high grape quality, while cellar practices follow traditional methods without filtration or clarification. Federico Stella operates the winery, which continues a long-standing tradition of small family cellars in the region.
