About the estate

The Pira Luigi Az. Agr. di Gianpaolo Pira estate is rooted in the hills of Serralunga d'Alba in Piedmont since the late 19th century and is run as a family business across multiple generations today. The vineyards are cultivated on the western side of Serralunga d'Alba, where the Lequio geological formations provide ideal conditions for growing Nebbiolo. Focusing on the distinctive traits of individual sites such as Vignarionda, Marenca, and Margheria, the family produces characteristic wines from this traditional area. Their approach relies on ancestral experience, dedicated vineyard work, and a delicate cellar philosophy. The family personally oversees all operations from vine care to the bottling of their own production.
