About the estate

The family-run PIERCARLO CULASSO s.s.a estate based in Barbaresco in Piedmont was founded in 2017 and builds on a long-standing history that began in the early decades of the 20th century. Piercarlo runs the winery together with his three children Martina, Michela and Marco, with their own vineyards in the Faset subzone having been in the family for generations. The small agricultural enterprise places great emphasis on manual labor, minimizing the use of tracked vehicles to protect the soil, and careful practices in both the vineyard and the cellar. The producer's portfolio includes Barbaresco DOCG, Barolo DOCG and Langhe Nebbiolo, which authentically reflect the character of the terroir.
