About the estate
The Pazo de Vieite estate in Leiro cultivates ten hectares of its own vineyards within the Ribeiro DO denomination. The history of the property dates back to the historic priorat of Vieite, where monks from the monastery of San Clodio practiced viticulture in the eleventh century. In the nineties, the vineyards underwent restructuring with a focus on native grape varieties, principally planting the Treixadura variety alongside Godello, Albariño, Loureira, and Torrontés. Inaugurated in two thousand and six, the winery is equipped with modern stainless steel technology for hand-harvested grapes and gentle processing methods.
