About the estate

The Bodegas Docampo winery looks back on a family winemaking tradition spanning almost a century, originating in the lands of Cenlle and now based in Ribadavia within the Ribeiro region. The estate cultivates six hectares of its own vineyards alongside an additional twelve hectares of controlled plots managed with local growers across the Ribeiro denomination. Mencía is primarily grown for red wines, whereas Treixadura, Torrontés, Godello, and Palomino are the main varieties cultivated for whites. Vineyard management and grape harvesting are carried out entirely by hand to ensure optimal fruit selection. The cellar combines this longstanding artisanal experience with advanced technology in a semi-submerged facility designed for controlled fermentation and careful storage.
