About the estate

The traditional winery Weingut Bernhard Ott, located in Feuersbrunn am Wagram in Lower Austria, cultivates vineyards characterized by deep loess soils in the Wagram and Kamptal regions. Founded in 1889, the estate is managed today in the fourth generation by Bernhard and Maria Ott. Ninety percent of the vineyard area is planted with Grüner Veltliner, complemented by other wines such as Riesling and Blaufränkisch. Since 2006, the estate has operated biodynamically, relying consistently on manual harvesting, spontaneous fermentation, and maturation in large wooden barrels. The wines are exported worldwide today.
