About the estate
The family estate Olivier Pezenneau is managed across four generations and encompasses 17 hectares of vineyards. Historically rooted in the southern part of Beaujolais within the land of golden stones, the winery currently cultivates plots in two distinct terroirs. On the clay-limestone soils in the south, Chardonnay is used to produce Beaujolais blanc and Crémant de Bourgogne. In the north, sandy granitic soils shape the parcels for Gamay noir à jus blanc, yielding the crus of Brouilly, Côte de Brouilly, Morgon, and Moulin à vent. Cultivation follows the principles of reasoned agriculture to limit environmental impact.
The eno directory lists 8 wines, mostly from Gamay and Chardonnay.
