About the estate
The Neder estate is based in Ramsthal in Franconia's Saale valley and is run today by Lorenz and Anja Neder, following in the footsteps of the founders. Sparse shell limestone soils and a somewhat cooler climate shape the vineyards, which cover around twelve hectares across Ramsthal, Wirmsthal, and Westheim. The winery is known as a pioneer for quality and decidedly dry, austere wines whose character and origin are deliberately preserved in the cellar. Sustainable vineyard management focuses on optimizing grape quality while respecting the surrounding ecosystem.
