About the estate
The MOCCAGATTA s.s.a. estate is located in Barbaresco in Piedmont and is rooted in a family history dating back to the mid-nineteenth century. The vineyards extend across the Langhe hills on soils characterized by fossil marl at elevations between 210 and 300 meters above sea level. The winery applies environmentally friendly methods with integrated pest management and organic fertilizers. Vinification takes place in modern cellar facilities with temperature control and aging in oak barrels. Today, the estate is managed by the family across multiple generations.
