About the estate
The Mas Haut Buis estate was founded in 1999 by Olivier Jeantet in La Vacquerie within the Terrasses du Larzac appellation in Languedoc. Situated at an altitude of 650 meters, the winery manages a vineyard area of twelve hectares planted with grape varieties such as Grenache, Syrah, Carignan, and Roussanne. The terroir is characterized by limestone scree and significant temperature fluctuations between day and night, and is farmed organically. Harvesting is carried out entirely by hand using small crates, followed by vinification in the cellar utilizing indigenous yeasts and large oak containers.
